Arjya has thirty years of work experience, which includes eleven years of work experience in several Leadership roles in the Human Resource Development function. She has spearheaded strategic initiatives in the Automobile, Manufacturing, FMCG and BPO industry. She has worked with Hindustan Motors, Dunlop India Ltd, Godrej Consumer Products Division, GECIS (GE Capital) and CRY ( Child Relief & You).

Cited by her students as a dedicated, ‘Rockstar’ teacher who creates a unique learning immersion in her classes , she has been teaching, researching, and consulting for the last nineteen years. She has previously taught at ICFAI Business School and Jaipuria Institute of Management. She has been a visiting Faculty Member with SP Jain school of Management, Dubai campus for their Executive MBA program. She presently Chairs the Human Resources Leadership Program at SOIL (School of Inspired Leadership). Some of the subjects and courses taught by her are Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management ,Change Management, Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Leadership, Managing Organizational Change, Organizational Design , Gender Diversity and Inclusion . Her teaching andragogy emphasizes on the ‘learning mindset’ and ‘experiential learning’ while having some ‘fun while learning’. She has published research papers and cases in international publications and participated in International Conferences.

She is responsible for organizing and leading the ‘Social Innovation Program’ at SOIL, wherein the SOIL students work with organizations committed towards building a better world and a regenerative economy.

She has executed several consulting assignments at SOIL. She has been instrumental in curating a unique curriculum design which actualizes a distinctive learning journey and offers courses in Liberal Arts, Business and Design Thinking, for SOIL School of Business Design (Manesar) which opened its doors to the first batch of students in 2019. She is a Certified Coach, having completed the ICF certified Program of Royal Roads University, Canada and has several (one-on-one) coaching hours to her credit.

She has written a book Chapter ‘HR for responsibility’ in the book ‘Managing for Responsibility’. She sits on the panel of Committees of MNCs as an external member for Gender Diversity initiatives.

She is a trained in Hindustani Classical music and has a Prabhakar and a Praveen degree from Prayaag Sangeet Samiti.
