Mr. Somesh Agarwal is a seasoned academic professional with over 11 years of experience, currently working as an Assistant Professor in SOBD in the Operations and Analytics department. His previous teaching experiences include positions at AMITY University, Mohali, and KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad. He specializes in Operations and Analytics instruction, fostering a dynamic learning environment. Currently submitted his Ph.D. thesis in circular economy and supply chain performance at Dr B R Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar, he brings expertise in quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making, supported by an MTech. In Industrial Engineering and Management from NIT Tiruchirappalli and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from MITS, Gwalior.

Mr. Somesh Agarwal, a distinguished academician, has achieved notable success in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Mechanical Engineering, qualifying five times consecutively from 2010 to 2014.

Mr. Agarwal’s research contributions include twelve publications in esteemed international journals and books, with three papers indexed in ABDC ranking, showcasing his commitment to sustainability and supply chain optimization. The cumulative impact factor of his published work is 13.1.

He also acts as a reviewer in various reputed internal journals.

Mr. Agarwal possesses proficiency in various software applications, including Liseral, MATLAB, and LINGO for mathematical modeling, Python for programming and data analysis, Advanced MS Excel for data analysis, and SPSS for statistical modeling and analysis.
