Mr. Udayan Karnatak (Ph.D in Finance (pursuing), EPAF from IIM- Calcutta, MBA-Finance, UGC-Net, MSc. M.Com, B.Sc.) is currently working as an Assistant Professor- Finance in SOIL School of Business Design, Manesar. In the year 2019, he was awarded fellowship in addition to a scholarship from BML Munjal University to pursue Ph.D. in Finance. In the past, he has been a member of the faculty at Amity University and ICFAI National College on a full-time basis. He has more than fourteen years of professional experience working in the academic field and has taught finance subjects to the PG and UG students. He has worked as Program Co-ordinator and assumed other administrative duties including placements and examination at different institutions. Related to the academics, in addition to corporate finance, some of his areas of specialization include investment management, financial derivatives, fixed income securities, and management accounting. He has written papers on financial markets, services and on sustainable mobility in India. Now, he is contemplating pursuing research on initial public offerings and investigating new territories for conducting research in the field of energy economics and sustainable finance.
