In 2003, I embarked on a journey of higher education at Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy, where I pursued my Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology, completing my undergraduate studies in 2007. During this time, I actively participated in various extracurricular activities, showcasing my leadership skills as the Elected Chairman of the Student Association. Additionally, I played integral roles in the SASTRA Marketing team and served as the Technical Festival Coordinator.

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I took on the role of Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd, where I gained valuable industry experience for almost three years, from July 2007 to April 2010. This was when I felt the urge to go back to school, explore avenues that aligned with my aspirations, and re-enter the professional world.

Seeking a management program that would not only bring me up-to-date with industry best practices but also provide exposure to the latest academic research, I discovered the SOIL Institute Of Management (SOIL) and its One-Year MBA – PGPM program. My last year at Infosys fueled my desire to be seen as a business leader and to contribute to the greater good. SOIL, with its unique curriculum and focus on responsible leadership, resonated with my aspirations.

In 2010, I enrolled in SOIL’s one-year MBA – PGPM program, aiming to leverage this opportunity to transform into a business leader capable of navigating the corporate world while making a positive impact on society. This discovery proved to be the best decision of my life, as I recognized the program’s potential to not only bridge the gap in my knowledge and skills caused by my time away from the industry but also equip me with the essential business skills needed to lead in the emerging landscape of India.

Post my MBA, my career took a dynamic trajectory, reflecting the transformative impact of my education. In 2011, I assumed the role of a Product Manager at Firefly e-Ventures Ltd in Gurgaon, India, dedicating three years and five months to honing my skills and contributing to organizational success. Building on this experience, I transitioned to the role of Product Manager [Mobile] at TaxiForSure.com in Bengaluru, India, from October 2014 to June 2015.

In June 2015, I took a significant step in my professional journey by co-founding Ninjacart, a venture based in Bengaluru, India. This entrepreneurial endeavor allowed me to apply my leadership skills and business acumen to build and grow a successful enterprise. Over the years, Ninjacart has become a prominent player in the industry, reflecting my commitment to creating a positive impact on the business world.

Reflecting on my journey, I am truly grateful to SOIL for not only upskilling me but for profoundly shaping my career trajectory. The one-year MBA program played a pivotal role in providing me with the confidence, knowledge, and skills necessary to become a leader in the new Emerging India. SOIL inspired me to influence a wide range of stakeholders responsibly, contributing to the vision of making India a powerful economy.
