SOIL does not have a fixed minimum percentile or score requirement on CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT for applying to the PGDM. The selection is profile based - we consider your overall academic record, any work experience, your exam score, performance in the Group Exercise, and Performance in Personal Interview. SOIL accepts any of the exams (CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, etc.), and if you submit more than one, they’ll take your best.

No. The CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT score cannot be waived under any circumstances. It is a mandatory requirement by AICTE.
A TOEFL/IELTS score is required only for non-Indian students who did not have ENGLISH as the primary language of instruction during their undergraduate studies.
Admission Committee gives weightages to the overall performance of an individual rather than excellence in a single field. We look at the candidate’s past academic records, work experience, recommendations and SOP.
In addition, performance in GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT and during the Design Thinking Workshop (Group Exercise) and the Personal Interview are considered while evaluating applicants.
At SOIL School of Business Design, the Group Exercise is conducted in the form of a Design Thinking Workshop. This activity allows us to assess how applicants work in teams, think creatively, and apply problem-solving skills in real-world situations.

No. You can complete the online application in multiple sessions. The changes will have to be saved every time the application is updated.

No, SOIL does not conduct a separate admission test. For admission to our PGDM programs, we accept scores from recognized national-level management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT, and MAT. Candidates are shortlisted based on their test scores, academic record, and overall profile for further evaluation through the Design Thinking Workshop (Group Exercise) and Personal Interview rounds.

Normally, SOIL conducts the PI in virtual/online mode. Once you are shortlisted for the GEPI process, you will find multiple available dates on your application portal and can select the one most convenient for you. In case dates are opened for the physical GEPI process at select centers, you will be informed accordingly.
The interview result will be announced after 2-3 weeks from the personal interview date.

Summer internship is a mandatory requirement wherein students work on a real time project in a company. Summer Internships will allow you to apply the skills and lessons learned in a classroom in the real world of business. The summer internships lasts for 2 months, and the placements process happens during Year 2 of the program.
