From grappling with complex physics problems in my high school years at Kendriya Vidyalaya and delving into the intricacies of biotechnology during my Bachelor’s at New Horizon College of Engineering, my academic journey laid a solid foundation for my analytical mindset.

Embarking on my professional journey at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as an Information Technology System Analyst, I spent nearly five years honing my skills in analyzing IT systems, workflows, and user requirements. I loved my job and was doing well in my career, but there was this curiosity/ desire I developed, to explore the managerial realm of business. Having a technical background, I was nervous about being seen as inexperienced, or even dumb if I took up a related role. That’s when as I sought avenues to stay abreast of evolving industry practices, my path intersected with the prospect of pursuing an MBA.

In 2013, I enrolled at the School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) for their one-year MBA – PGPM program. The immersive curriculum, crafted by world-class faculty and industry leaders, promised to equip me with the business acumen required to navigate the dynamic corporate landscape. As a student, I thrived on the diverse experiences and the recognition of being awarded the Inspired Leader of the Year.

SOIL became the crucible where my theoretical knowledge seamlessly merged with practical insights. The program’s emphasis on transformative leadership exposed me to a holistic approach, encouraging me to explore my true potential and aspire to be a leader shaping a better world.

Armed with the skills and perspectives gained at SOIL, I transitioned to Societe Generale Global Solution Centre. Over the span of six years, I evolved from a Business Analyst to a Lead Business Analyst, steering comprehensive business analyses, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Each role marked a progression in my ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver valuable solutions that exceed client expectations.

In 2021, my journey took an exciting turn as I assumed the role of Senior Product Manager at Publicis Sapient. Here, I spearhead digital product strategy, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative solutions aligned with client objectives and market demands.

Reflecting on my trajectory, I am profoundly grateful to SOIL for providing not just an education but a transformative experience that shaped my career trajectory. The MBA – PGPM program was the catalyst that propelled me from solving complex physics problems to navigating the intricate landscape of business strategy, imbuing me with the skills and mindset to contribute to the emergence of a powerful and responsible India.
