Considering An MBA In HR? Here’s How You Can Stand Out!

What do HR Professionals from the SOIL Institute of Management bring to the Table?

Unlike other B-schools, SOIL also imparts the following values and virtues, also known as the 5 pillars of SOIL, that help its students be distinguished from all others.

    • Awareness – The practice of “mindfulness” cultivates awareness. It involves being fully present in our thoughts, feelings, and actions without dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
    • Balance – Comes from appreciating the essence of “sustainability”. The SOIL campus is designed to balance with Mother Nature. The building’s design includes natural light in all rooms, rainwater harvesting, energy-saving equipment, etc. Additionally, “Whole systems Thinking” courses are taught to students to raise awareness of this aspect.
    • Compassion – The concept is not only about empathizing with others by understanding their state of mind but also taking action to assist those in need. This is achieved through the “Social Innovation Program,” where students collaborate with NGOs to make a difference in society.
    • Diversity – The concept is to value individual differences and use them for the common good.
    • Ethic – SOIL ensures its students use ethical means to achieve results.
Let’s learn something about the founder of such an institute!

Mr. Anil Sachdev, the founder of SOIL, played a pivotal role in boosting the Indian HR industry in the 1980s and 1990s. With the backing of prominent HR leaders in India, he established Grow Talent Company in 2001, which went on to become the country’s largest HR consulting firm. The idea of the MBA in HR program was conceived by the founders of Grow Talent.

Anil Sachdev is the Founder and Chairman of the School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL). He is recognized as a thought leader in the field of Human Resource Management, his pioneering work in the industry. He has contributed to the success of several global and Indian firms. He is also passionate about exploring the spiritual dimensions of business and helping organizations become more meaningful and inspiring.

He has received several National Awards such as “The HR Professional of the Year” etc. His biography appears in “Who’s Who of the World” published by Marquis in 1991.
