India has become well-known globally for its achievements in areas like science, technology, and education. Many bright students from around the world come to study here.

However, despite the many opportunities in India, a lot of young professionals now want to work in other countries, especially in places like the U.S., Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. A survey found that Indians are among the most open to working and settling overseas.

There are several reasons for this trend. Young professionals today are attracted to better lifestyles, modern infrastructure, organized rules, and good governance in other countries. Working internationally also offers more chances for career growth and better financial rewards. Plus, the work environments abroad often provide valuable experiences and skills that can help young professionals succeed in the future.

So, many Indian young people are looking to work overseas to get ahead in their careers. They are also investing in education to make this possible.

How Does SOIL Prepare Its Students For Global Careers?

In the 21st century, the world has become more connected because of globalization and technology. This means it’s important for students to learn about people and their behavior in different cultures.

At SOIL, we have special experiences designed to help students learn about people, business, and the world in a hands-on way. Global immersion is one such program.

    Global Immersion

Business helps create value, make things work better, and bring people together all over the world. Our students go on a two-week trip to one of the world’s top business cities. During this trip, they have lessons on campus, do projects and assignments, and take part in hands-on activities like workshops. It’s a great chance to get to know these business cities.

You’ll learn directly from the people who live there about their culture, how they do business, and what their customers are like. These four countries are some of the biggest economies in the world, so it’s a valuable experience.

    This consists of –

    ON–CAMPUS SESSIONS

Students go to a university in another country and attend classes there. During the course, they spend five days in the classroom, where they talk about case studies, listen to lectures by industry leaders, and discuss things like history, culture, politics, and economics.

Before they go, students get instructions on how to behave in a business setting, the local language, and what to expect in terms of culture. The college also provides information about places to visit and how to stay healthy during the trip.

    STUDY TREKS

Students learn about how international businesses operate. They do this by going to three different places and taking part in events.

    • Corporate Firms
    • Government Institutions
    • Cultural Events

This exposure not only teaches them the rules that apply to business, but also helps them to become familiar with the country, its people, culture, and environment.

The Global Immersion also gives the golden opportunity to network with experts and industry leaders and make an unforgettable impression, opening up multiple opportunities for themselves in the global market.

Here Are The Outcomes Of Global Immersion

To provide an understanding of how businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs operate in a global arena

To explore different factors which affect businesses globally

To understand the local business strategies and practices followed in these economies

To have an economic and cultural understanding of prominent business capitals and their competitive advantage over developing economies

apply classroom knowledge directly to the global companies

Is there any evidence to substantial these claims? What has been the

What Makes SOIL, The Top B-school In India?

In 2008, SOIL Institute of Management was founded by a collaboration of corporate leaders and spiritual thinkers. This initiative aimed to tackle today’s toughest challenges and create a better future. Supported by 32 companies and 25 NGOs, SOIL’s mission is to nurture leaders with integrity, skills, and passion.

    Location

SOIL’s campus is situated in Gurgaon, a bustling hub of industry and innovation. This strategic location sets us apart from many other business schools in India. Gurgaon, often dubbed the ‘futuristic corporate hub,’ is one of India’s fastest-growing cities. With a population growth of over 70% in the last decade, Gurgaon now houses more than 1.5 million people. It’s home to over 500 multinational corporations, making it a significant contributor to the state of Haryana’s revenue. This vibrant city is a melting pot of national and international leaders, fostering a dynamic and diverse community.

    World-class Faculty

Throughout its journey, SOIL has had the privilege of having great teachers from both academics and industry. We have over 50 teachers for all our management programs. Values

SOIL believes that businesses, as they operate, can make a positive impact on society, the environment, and international relations through inspired actions. Its teaching approach fosters this inspired thinking in future business leaders, who will contribute to three key aspects: social welfare, environmental sustainability, and shareholder value.

    • Awareness: SOIL promotes mindfulness, which means being fully present in our actions and thoughts. This is achieved through regular yoga and meditation practices.
    • Balance: Sustainability is at the core of SOIL’s ethos. They educate our students on "Whole Systems Thinking" to instill a sense of balance with the environment.
    • Compassion: SOIL believes in empathy and action. Through our year-long "Social Innovation Program," students collaborate with NGOs to make a positive impact on society.
    • Diversity: At SOIL, individual uniqueness is celebrated and leveraged it for the collective good.
    • Ethics: Integrity is paramount. Through a dedicated course led by theater artists, SOIL encourages its students to explore and strengthen their own ethical values.
