    Mock Start-Up

    Students engage in a simulated startup experience, starting from generating ideas to conducting market research, assessing viability, seeking funding, and launching the product or service. The faculty assigns mentors to support students throughout the process.

    Industry Dissertation

    Students have the opportunity to identify a problem and conduct primary and secondary market research. They can choose their own projects or contribute to research projects led by SOIL faculty members.

    Leadership Experiential

    At SOIL, we provide a transformative journey for MBA graduates to become inspired leaders. Through leadership experiential tracks, graduates engage in activities that encourage self-reflection and exploration, learn about the community around them, and strive to enhance their physical and emotional well-being. We offer the following experiential programs with the aim of developing leadership qualities in our graduates.

    Leadership Experiential

    Self-Leadership

    In the self-leadership program, students go through a journey of self-discovery, setting goals for themselves in different aspects of life. They learn how to lead themselves physically, emotionally, and intellectually, and gain a deeper understanding of their purpose and strengths.

    Theatre & Ethics

    Students participate in a 5-day theatre program facilitated by experienced teachers. Through simulations and role-plays, they explore their values and ethics, while also developing essential drama skills such as voice projection, body language, and emphasis on words. Theatre helps them express themselves confidently.

    Himalayan Community Retreat

    As part of the learning retreat, students spend a week in the foothills of the Dhauladhara in Sidhbari. This transformative experience exposes them to a different approach to life and helps them reflect on their past and prepare for the future. It is often regarded as a memorable and life-changing time by our alumni.

    Social Innovation Program (SIP)

    In the SIP program, students form teams and collaborate with non-profit organizations working for community development. They spend a day every week working closely with these partners, gaining hands-on experience. The program lasts for around 40 days, with 30 days in the field and 10 days in the classroom.

    Yoga & Wellness

    Yoga and wellness practices are integrated into the daily experience at SOIL. Students learn and practice yoga, which promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This course is highly appreciated by SOIL students.

    Morning Circle

    The morning circle is a daily ritual where students and faculty come together to share positive stories, reflect inwardly, and discuss their daily goals. This creates a sense of community and nurtures a positive atmosphere for the rest of the day. The circle often begins with a prayer, respecting different beliefs and traditions.

    International Exchange

    SOIL partners with international business schools with a specific focus on design thinking, technology, innovation, sustainability, and research. Our International partners are carefully chosen to provide students with a unique learning experience across different cultures and geographies which is critical to success in this global.

    MIP, Italy

    MIP, Italy, was established through a collaboration between leading Italian companies and Politecnico di Milano, a renowned university known for its excellence in technology and innovation.

    MIP & SOIL Joint Degree Program

    Students at SOIL have the opportunity to participate in MIP’s Joint Degree Program, which allows them to gain global perspectives on management. Under this program, students attend selected courses at MIP Italy for two months and complete the remaining courses at SOIL over a period of ten months.

    Shizenkan

    Shizenkan is a school in Tokyo that builds upon the legacy of Strategic Leadership. Since 2001, the school has nurtured over 1,300 business and social leaders. The aim is to empower individuals to create a better future.

    University of New Brunswick (UNB)

    UNB is one of the top five comprehensive universities in Canada, known for its academic excellence. With over 12,000 students from more than 100 countries, UNB has two main campuses located in Fredericton and Saint John, New Brunswick.

    Johannesburg Business School (JBS)

    Established in 2017, JBS is one of Africa’s largest business schools and is part of the College of Business and Economics at the University of Johannesburg. Together, they aim to create a global platform to explore and promote leadership education and the role of business schools in business growth and societal development.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for admission into the PGPM BL program, a student must fulfill the following criteria.

    • A Completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least 50% in graduation.
    • Greater than 60% in 10th & 12th Standard Examinations
    • Minimum 2 years of Prior Work Experience is required.
    • Valid CAT*/NMAT/GMAT/XAT* in all these areas, we need to include add SNAP towards the end

    The following exam scores are acceptable for admission to the 1-Year PGPM Program. These scores are not mandatory, however, they add extra weight to the application

    Early Admission Round

    Offers the highest acceptance rate relative to the smaller pool of students applying.

    For Test Takers

    For students who want to increase their chance of acceptance through exam scores

    For students who have missed the earlier 3 cycles.

    SOIL follows a multiple-cycle model to accept maximum applications for the program and to arrive at a better shortlisting of students for a quality program batch. The cycle dates given below are subject to change based on the admission committee’s decision.

    SOIL Admissions Process

    Step 1: Submit an online application

    To apply to SOIL, you need to fill out an online application form before the deadline. The admissions committee will require the following information:

    • Academic background details
    • Detailed work experience
    • Optional MBA exam scores
    • Upload document proofs

    Step 2: Complete the SOIL Talent Appreciation Test (STAT)

    The STAT is a 105-minute assessment that helps us understand your leadership potential and personality strengths. It focuses on four key traits that contribute to being a great leader.

    • Networking Potential
    • Self Leadership Potential

    Step 3: Pre-interview Assessment

    • Before your interview, there will be an assessment to understand your
    • Career goals
    • Life summary
    • This usually takes place one hour before the interview. Make sure to prepare for it.

    Step 4: Personal Interview

    We have a rolling interview process. Within four weeks of submitting your application and two weeks of taking the STAT, you can expect to receive a decision on your shortlist. Interviews are conducted by a faculty member and a senior industry member. They typically last about 45 minutes and cover topics like your background, aspirations, and how the MBA program aligns with your plans. Remember to –

    • Arrive at the interview location 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
    • Bring your original documents for verification.

    Step 5: Admission Decision

    Final decisions will be emailed to all candidates within four weeks of the interview. After the interview, you may receive one of the following outcomes:

    • Offer to join the program
    • Request for a second personal interview
    • Unsuccessful application for this year

    Step 6: Program Registration

    If you receive an offer to join the program, you’ll need to secure your place by paying the first installment of the course fee (INR Two Lacs) within 10 days of receiving the offer. The Admissions team will guide you through this process.

    The fees and schedule of payment details for offered candidates willing to take admission to the PGPM-BL program are given below:

As per the prevailing Government of India rules, the current rate of GST is 18%.

    SOIL is committed to ensuring that our program is available for the most committed and high-potential leaders of tomorrow. In order to achieve this, it has allocated scholarships worth 2 crores (For all SOIL Programs) in total that are mentioned below:

      • Students who are full-time employees of any Registered NGO or Non-profit organization working in social space for the last year or more

      Women In Leadership Scholarship

      Amount – Upto 2 Lakhs

      • Women who have done exceptional work in leadership roles for an organization.

      Earn While You Learn (Research Assistantship)

      Amount – 10,000/month

      • Selection will be based on the performance during PI and SOP submission.
