Dr. T. G. Vijaya has spent close to three decades in the space of higher education and training. With a formal background in industrial psychology and management studies, she is currently the Director at SOIL. Specializing in Leadership and Change Management, she has been a professor of Human Resources and Psychology for over 27 years. Having previously held leadership roles within academia, she has served on the board of studies for Anna University and is a member of the education panel of the CII. Over the course of her career, Dr. Vijaya has been an active participant in global teaching collaborations serving as a guest faculty at universities in Europe, the USA, and Australia. Working closely with industry, she also participates as a consultant in organizing executive development programs meant for working professionals.

International Summer/ Winter Schools Organized:

  • India Yesterday Today Tomorrow Program conducted in association with San Diego State University.

This three-week program was an excellent opportunity for students from the United States to discover India. The program was limited to a small group of twenty students to foster in depth learning, bonding and a sharing of views and perspectives on India and the world. Students from the PSG institute were also allowed to enroll in the program. Coordinated four such summer and winter schools from 2010 to 2013. The response from the students from the US pushed me to look at other parts of the world. It was that exploration that resulted in the PSG –BAYIND Summer School. This summer school attracts students from all over Bavaria and I have been conducting it since 2013.

  • Designed, developed, and delivered over 30 executive development programs in the areas of leadership, team building, and managerial effectiveness and building world class organizations. The latest one was a one-day management development program “Managing Change in a VUCA World on 21st June 2019.

Faculty Development Programs

  • A first-ever five-day AICTE-ATAL Faculty development program “Excellence In Academic Leadership” was successfully delivered where 56 participants across India received certificates. Earlier program themes include psychometric assessment, creating inclusive workplaces, stress management and academic leadership.
